It was Sinners who were off to the best start on the opener, taking 6 rounds in a row before the Turkish-side began to answer back and fought themselves to 4 rounds in the first half. In the second half of the opener, Sangal started to find their footing and lowered the deficit to only two rounds, but a strong playing “NEOFRAG” from Sinners helped his team to secure the last three needed rounds to make it 1-0 in the series.
The second map of the series was Inferno where both teams followed each other most of the time. The map looked like it could go either way, but it was the Turkish-side from Sangal who wanted it the most in the end of second half as they took the victory and tied up the series 1-1.
On the decider of Mirage, both teams showed great character and persistence by putting up a strong fight. A strong performance from Sangal’s “ngiN” wasn’t enough to secure his team the victory in the end as Sinners came out on top after a hard-fought win and booked a ticket to the Grand Final against Lyngby Vikings.
