Battling for survival at the ongoing BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 event were NiP and Evil Geniuses, a match that everyone was expecting NiP to cruise through with somewhat ease. Whilst Evil Geniuses did look good themselves in periods of the Bo3-series, the fact that the brawl lasted three close maps was a surprise to many.

We spoke with a dissatisfied “REZ” who felt that he had more to offer than what he showed today, as well as the team’s overall performance against Evil Geniuses.

After the victory against Evil Geniuses, the star player of Ninjas in Pyjamas “REZ” had the following to say in regard to their performance against EG:

“I think this game was definitely on us if we were to lose. I don’t think we played well at all. We struggled and we made a lot of mistakes, definitely on Overpass… It was really poor Counter-Strike today to be honest and we really have to step up if we want to win against Liquid.”
