In the grand final at ESL One: Cologne back in 2015, the Swedes from Fnatic stunned the entire CS:GO community with their iconic four-AWP setup near T-spawn, which ended out costing a peeking CT in Dan ‘apEX’ Madesclaire his life. However, the Frenchman was revenged in a match yesterday between Liquid and Fnatic.
The North American didn’t buy four AWP’s, however, they did acquire two powerful auto-snipers. The pair of of G3SG1’s, which the snipers are called, was equipped by Liquid’s Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonkowski and Keith “NAF” Markovic, and ended up doing significant damage to Fnatic, resulting in two kills on KRIMZ and Brollan.
