After spending more than a year on the sidelines at Cloud9, Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy is finally set to return to the big stage.
On Tuesday evening, BC.Game announced that the Russian rifler will be standing in for the team at the upcoming IEM Dallas. The event, which kicks off on May 27 in Texas, will mark Perfecto’s first tier-one LAN appearance since April 2024.
Taking over for jkaem
The 24-year-old will be stepping in for Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, who was benched last week following controversy surrounding alleged gambling debts. BC.Game clarified that Perfecto is joining as a temporary stand-in.
On Telegram, Perfecto confirmed the news himself but noted that his participation is still dependent on securing a visa for the United States.
Since being benched by Cloud9 last year, Perfecto has seen limited action. He most recently appeared at the PGL Bucharest Open Qualifier and BetBoom’s LanDaLan tournament.
With IEM Dallas around the corner, Perfecto will be hoping for a smooth return to top-flight Counter-Strike.
