OG has removed Mădălin-Andrei “MoDo” Mirea from its active roster, the organization announced today.
The decision comes less than a month into the new season, during which OG has struggled, putting up disappointing results at CCT Season 2 Europe Series 16 and Season 17.
Most recently, the team failed to qualify for IEM Dallas after back-to-back defeats in the closed qualifier.
OG did not specify a reason for MoDo’s removal but released the following statement:
The roster carousel spins again
MoDo joined OG’s main roster in May last year after initially standing in for the team. During his tenure, he averaged a 1.01 rating.
His removal continues a pattern of frequent roster moves by OG, with the organization having undergone significant changes. Since last winter-off season, there have been no less than ten roster changes.
