HEROIC is currently ranked #12 on Valve’s global ranking.

After six months on the bench at HEROIC, Linus “nilo” Bergman got reinstated to the starting lineup on Monday.

On HEROIC, the 20-year-old rifler will play alongside his countrymen Linus “LNZ” Holtäng and Simon “yxngstxr” Boije, forming a new Swedish core.

Something nilo is clearly excited about, he explains in an interview with Fragbite.se.

– It’s great fun to play under a Swedish flag and be so high up in the rankings, where you get to play the biggest tournaments in CS while representing the Swedish flag. It’s been several years since we had a Swedish core that was so high up the rankings, nilo said.

nilo was signed by HEROIC at the start of 2025 following a strong stint with Metizport, where he built up a promising reputation. But shortly after joining, HEROIC benched the young talent citing “personal circumstances.”

Now back in the active roster, nilo reflects on the break.

– I have had a bit of mixed feelings I would say during the spring season. You have had time to recharge your batteries, but it has also been quite boring in a way. I really missed playing on a team, where you get the chance to play officials and a lot more fun that you miss out on.

nilo will get his debut in the HEROIC jersey later this month when the squad attend FISSURE Playground 1 in Belgrade, Serbia.
