NiKo addresses kyousuke rumours ahead of the Major

It seems like there are always rumours and reports swirling around Falcons.

It’s no different at this point in time, with the Saudi team allegedly having agreed on a deal with Spirit over their super talent Maxim “kyousuke” Lukin.

In an interview with BLAST, Falcons’ star rifler Nikola “NiKo” Kovac was asked about the rumours and how they will prevent it from being a distraction for the team.

– I can only speak for myself, but when it comes to the Major, you don’t care about what’s happening outside of the game. Everyone’s highest priority is the Major.

– We can’t control what will happen afterwards, it’s not really in our hands, so everyone is fully focused on this Major and trying to make sure we’re as ready as we can be, NiKo said to BLAST.

kyousuke is reportedly joining Falcons after the summer break, where he’s set to replace Emil “Magisk” Reif, according to neL.

“Nothing has changed”

The rumours of kyousuke and Falcons already started in early April when Dust2.dk reported that the Saudi team was interested in signing the Spirit phenomenon.

But later on, the situation intensified with several reports stating that the deal had been agreed. But nothing has changed within the team, the Bosnian rifler assures.

– I can’t tell any difference in the team now compared to two months ago before the reports, nothing has really changed especially because the Major is the final event of the season. It doesn’t matter what’s going to happen for the next season or whatever, you just have to go out there and give it your all because the Major’s are two times a year and you work towards it all season

– We just want to go out there and make sure we have no regrets, we may still be behind Vitality, but we want to go and control the things we can control and that’s the preparation we’re doing right now, NiKo told BLAST.

Falcons will begin their BLAST.tv Austin Major campaign this Saturday as Stage 2 gets underway.
