Day 1 of the Elimination Stage at the PGL Major Copenhagen ended with a stellar showing from Team Spirit, who destroyed Imperial in a swift fashion on Mirage.
There was never any doubt of the result, as Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, and the rest of the Spirit roster ran over Imperial, who tried everything to change the outcome but had to succumb to a much better opponent.
Spirit will take on Natus Vincere tomorrow, as the Ukrainian roster took down G2 in a very closely fought match on Nuke. NAVI was able to shift gears throughout the match and ended up winning 13-11.
MOUZ will take on Complexity in the other 2W-0L match tomorrow.
Danish setback at Copenhagen Major
Finn “karrigan” Andersen and FaZe also spent the night in Copenhagen reviving the hope of going far at a Major again. Their first-round loss against Heroic was shaken off against FURIA after a superb second half on Ancient.
