Movistar Riders took down BIG in a Group B 4th place decider match. The winner advances to playoffs round 1, losing team is eliminated.
Starting the series off on Vertigo, Movistar Riders came out pressing the speeder. The Spanish roster secured themselves an 9-6 scoreline going into halftime after leading the early stages of the game 5-0. A great T-side from Movistar Riders wasn’t enough as BIG fought their absolute best to make the comeback. BIG destroyed Movistar Riders on the T side winning ten rounds on the weaker side to close out the game 16-13.

Next up, Nuke. A close encounter between the Spanish Team and BIG was on the menu during the first half. BIG started the half best but Movistar Riders bounced back and closed out the half only behind 8-7. What seemed like a great T side for BIG wasn’t enough as Movistar Riders closed out the map on the T side. Led by alex, Movistar Riders won nuke 16-12.

To decide the match, Ancient was left open as the decider. Movistar Riders won the knife round and started the deciding match on the CT side. BIG won the first pistol round of the map. However, a 2-0 lead for BIG ended up being a 12-3 half in favor of Movistar Riders. The Spanish team secured themselves the second pistol round of the game to go up 14-2. Despite BIG trying their hardest to make the comeback, an ECO round for Movistar Riders was enough for them to take the victory. Movistar Riders send BIG out of ESL Pro League S17.
