Astralis blow 12-5 lead on Inferno as MOUZ prevail in overtime thriller
The semifinal kicked off on Inferno, where Astralis looked set for a dominant victory. The Danes stormed ahead to a commanding 12-5 lead, controlling the pace of the game with well-executed site takes and disciplined defense. However, MOUZ refused to back down. The international squad strung together seven consecutive rounds to level the score at 12-12, riding the momentum into overtime. Once there, MOUZ completed their stunning turnaround, punishing Astralis’s mistakes and edging out a victory on the first map.
On Nuke, Astralis responded in style. Their T-side was particularly strong, as they dismantled MOUZ’s defensive setups with precision and confidence. The Danish team never lost control, closing out the map 13-8 to force a decider.

The final battle took place on Ancient, where both teams delivered an intense spectacle for the packed BT Arena. MOUZ established a solid 7-5 lead on their CT side and extended their advantage with a crucial pistol round victory. They quickly built their lead to 12-5, putting all the pressure on Astralis to mount a comeback. However, the Danes had run out of steam and failed to win a single CT round, allowing MOUZ to close out the series and deny Astralis their first Grand Final appearance in an S-Tier event since January 2021.
This victory marks a major milestone for MOUZ, as they make their first Grand Final with Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin as their new in-game leader following the departure of Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek. The team also welcomed Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, whose impact on the server has already proven invaluable. The duo’s influence was on full display, as MOUZ delivered one of their most impressive performances in recent history.
MOUZ now move on to the Grand Final, where they will battle for the $400,000 top prize. Their opponent will be determined in tonight’s second semifinal between Falcons and FaZe, with the Grand Final set to take place tomorrow at 17:00 CET.
