MAD Lions have just announced that they have benched two of their players in Fredrik “roeJ” Jørgensen and Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen. This means that MAD Lions currently only have one intended player in their roster in Thomas “TMB” Bundsbæk.
MAD fans, roster update:
Our players @roeJcsgo and @HooXiCSGO have been cleared to explore offers from other organizations. They will be benched as part of our new strategy in CS:GO.
Please stay tuned, more updates soon.

The move is a result of MAD Lions’ future plans to establish an international roster and move away from the exclusively Danish line-up that they have been fielding for quite some time now.
For now, it is uncertain as to where “roeJ” and “HooXi” will seek to further their careers, but they are seemingly up for new tasks and challenges elsewhere. In a Twitlonger post the benched “roeJ” expresses his eagerness to get back into the grind of professional Counter-Strike as soon as possible:
“I am still hungry as ever to compete and I know I have a lot to contribute for a team who wants to achieve big things in CS.”

“HooXi” is equally ready to embark on a new journey as he has also stated his eagerness to help a new team with his in-game leading capabilities.
For now, we will have to wait and see what the new plans for MAD Lions bring, as well as the possibilities for “roeJ” and “HooXi” to find themselves a new banner to compete under and a place to further their careers.
