Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov has had a phenomenal start on Falcons. Just weeks into his time with the team, he’s already heading into his second consecutive Grand Final.
Now playing under the leadership of Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski, m0NESY seems more than comfortable, and full of praise for his new in-game leader.
Speaking on the BLAST desk yesterday, the Russian superstar compared kyxsan’s calling style to his former IGLs, including G2’s Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski.
– Obviously, every IGL is different. Everyone has a different mentality and approach for the game. He has a different style compared to snax. Kyxsan likes to have more structure around the map and like to play more slow and to change the pace sometimes.
– I mean, it works and it’s good. He just calls very good, and he feels very confident, and he always has the last word, m0NESY said.
m0NESY and the rest of Falcons now face a huge challenge in the Grand Final of BLAST Rivals, where world No.1 Vitality await.
The best-of-five title decider is scheduled for 16:00 CET on Sunday.
