When the BLAST.tv Austin Major kicks off later this season, it will mark a historic milestone for Finn “karrigan” Andersen and Dan “apEX” Madesclaire.
The two legendary in-game leaders will become the first players in Counter-Strike history to attend 20 Majors, breaking the previous record of 19 held by Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen.
dupreeh, who is the most decorated Major player with five titles, long held the record for the most Major appearances. But after failing to qualify for the last three Majors, his streak came to an end, opening the door for apEX and karrigan to surpass him.
