Inner Circle have benched Martin “STYKO” Styk ahead of the new season, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old Slovak joined the team as in-game leader when the project launched in January but is now out of the starting lineup after six months at the helm.
His departure continues a rapid overhaul in Inner Circle’s ranks. In the past two weeks, the team has parted ways with Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný, Frederik “Fessor” Sørensen, and Marcus “Q-Q” Krolak-Henriksen. STYKO now becomes the fourth to exit the active roster.
The moves leave Szymon “kRaSnaL” Mrozek as the sole remaining player on the team, with Piotr “nawrot” Nawrocki staying on as head coach.
Inner Circle did not make much noise during the first half of 2025 and now appear to be resetting for a new chapter. No replacements have been confirmed, but the organization stated they are “almost ready” to reveal their updated roster.
STYKO confirmed the news on social media, expressing frustration but also determination to continue competing as an IGL.
