The Counter-Strike hype is real Down Under! The commitment of the Australian fans was once again confirmed, as ESL today announced that the IEM Sydney event in October already has been sold out.

From October 20th to October 22nd the Aware Super Theatre will host the playoff stage of IEM Sydney. No teams have been confirmed at the event so far. There is $250,000 in prize pool for the event.
Aware Super Theatre is part of the International Convention Center of Sydney (in picture). The theatre can seat 9000 spectators however it is unsure how many seats have been made available for the Counter-Strike event.
