The Group C at ESL Pro League has come to close!
Gambit have ensured themselves at least a Top-six finish at the prominent event as they went undefeated and won the group with maximum points by taking down FURIA in their final matchup, while the Brazilian-side finished second and NAVI third to advance to the playoffs. In the end, es3tag and company from Cloud9 were eliminated after they conceded their do or die match in a contested affair.

FURIA vs. Gambit began on Gambit’s map pick of Vertigo which they won confidently, 16-8. Ax1Le was the main force behind Gambit’s good performance as he finished off the first map of the series with a 1.53 rating and 23 frags.
On the second map of the series, FURIA didn’t give up too easy and went on to win 9 consecutive rounds before closing out the map 16-13 to tie up the series 1-1 and keep their hopes for a first place in the group alive.
But on the decider, Gambit crushed the Brazilian-side 16-9 with sh1ro leading the charge for his team to remain undefeated in Group C and clinch the top spot. The 19-year-old talented Russian delivered 26 frags and a 1.57 rating.
