GODSENT has revealed plans to build a new Swedish Counter-Strike team as part of a broader expansion of its CS division, the organization announced in a statement.
The Swedish organization, which has a rich history in Counter-Strike, has remained largely silent in recent months.
However, GODSENT now confirms that it is moving forward with ambitious projects, including a new main roster, a revamped academy system, and even an esports-focused high school program in Malmö.
Dedicated to Swedish CS
In a lengthy post on X, GODSENT has outlined its vision for the future.
– Later today, we will announce our new Swedish Valorant team, with a new Swedish CS team also in the pipeline, alongside further expansion of our CS division with youth and academy initiatives. A new Young Gods project is in the making.
– In the autumn of last year, we applied for and were approved to start a CS High School in Malmö, Sweden, offering 15 students the opportunity to pursue an elite CS education alongside their regular studies. The first class will begin in autumn 2026, and throughout this year, we will be marketing and recruiting for the program.
Full statement from GODSENT
“We have been quiet lately, working behind the scenes, and finally it is time to for us to set things in motion and kick off 2025.
2024 was turbulent, to say the least. We’ve faced challenges that tested us to our core, forcing us to rebuild our club from the ground up. It hasn’t been easy, and there is still work to be done, but we are finding our strength again. We have now laid the foundation for a promising future, and while we still have to put many things right and are paying our debts, we are moving forward with unwavering determination. As God is our witness, we never did, and we never will, give up.

We are continuously looking for coaches and players of all ages who want to represent GODSENT in any and all esports titles, both domestically and internationally. As we expand our academy and youth programs, we are working on building our esports club from the ground up, with focus on primarily Swedish and Nordic talent. If you have a passion for esports, visit our website and reach out—we’d love to hear from you.
The road ahead is long, but our vision is clear—to build something that stands the test of time. See you in 2025.”
GODSENT was founded in 2016 by the former Fnatic icon Markus “pronax” Wallsten.
The Swedish organization has fielded a myriad of profiled rosters throughout the year, featuring the likes of TACO, JW, STYKO, Brollan, KRIMZ, Flusha and many more.
In March last year, GODSENT announced the release of their entire CS team, after their main sponsor cancelled the partnership.
