G2 has just pulled off an extremely impressive comeback this Friday evening, as they managed to resweep the dominant North Americans from Liquid in the playoffs at ESL Pro League. The European side was in deep troubles at several times in the match, especially on the decider on Inferno where they were behind 10-5, near the end of the series.
Despite Liquid playing some great Counter-Strike, G2 kept fighting and the in-game leader Nemanja “nexa” Isakovic managed to keep his players cool, calm and collected. With an outstanding CT-side for nexa and company, G2 took home the series by completing the impressive resweep, after losing 16-11 on Dust2.
The strong 2-1-win means that G2 will meet FURIA in the next round of the playoff, as the two top teams will go head-to-head this Sunday at 15:30 (CET).
