This Saturday evening, G2 played their first match after their decision to remove the legendary AWPer Kenny “kennyS” Schrub last week. His replacement on the sniper rifle were Nikola “NiKo” Kovac, who didn’t manage to return the favour, as the Bosnian super struggled in his new role as dedicated AWPer.
The otherwise dominant NiKo ended the match with a 0.92 Rating and a following -8 K-D.
However, that didn’t hold back the French-Balkan mixed team from taking home the victory, as they first conquered NiP’s map pick of Inferno followed by a close but confident 22-19 OT-win on Mirage.
