According to a report by Game Arena, FURIA is expected to bring in Liquid’s Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis to their active squad.
The highly unpredictable move will allegedly see Felipe “skullz” Medeiros be moved to the bench to make room for the 25-year-old Latvian.
International is the way
If the transfer goes through, it would mark another big step in FURIA’s international direction. Earlier this month, the Brazilian organisation announced the signing of Danil “molodoy” Golubenko – a talented AWPer from Kazakhstan.
Now, they appear poised to welcome yet another non-Brazilian player into the team currently led by Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo.
YEKINDAR has been on the bench at Liquid since December, when he was removed from the starting lineup. The Latvian rifler previously found great success with Virtus.pro, but his time at Liquid never really lived up to expectations.
