Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen has been appointed as the new head coach of Passion UA, the organization confirmed on Friday.
The 32-year-old South African joins the CIS team just weeks after parting ways with Complexity, where he spent more than three years as head coach. This marks his first time coaching a lineup outside of South Africa and North America, as he now takes charge of a fully Ukrainian roster.
Taking over from Kane
The move comes one day after Passion UA announced the departure of their previous coach Mykhajlo “Kane” Blaghin, who played a key role in the team’s standout performance at the Perfect World Shanghai Major late last year.
However, 2025 has not been as fruitful. Passion UA has yet to produce any notable results this season, prompting a change in leadership.
Passion UA is currently ranked outside the Top 50 on both HLTV’s and Valve’s global rankings.
