FlyQuest add former ESIC-banned player

The New Zealander has previously been given a 12-month ban by the esports watchdog.

FlyQuest have officially completed their roster with the signing of Corey “nettik” Browne, finalizing the Australian squad ahead of their upcoming tournaments.

The 21-year-old rifler steps in to replace Christopher “dexter” Nong, who was recently benched from the lineup.

ESIC ban

nettik joins FlyQuest with a chequered past, having previously served a 12-month ban for violating ESIC’s betting regulations. The suspension, issued in early 2021, was part of a larger crackdown that saw 35 players penalized for similar breaches.

Since serving his ban, nettik has rebuilt his career, competing for Paradox, Rooster, and most recently, Talon, where he stood out as the highest-rated player in the last 12 months.

New leadership

With dexter’s removal, FlyQuest have confirmed that Joshua “INS” Potter will take over as the team’s new in-game leader.

INS is eager to step into the role, especially with “one of Oceania’s best riflers” now in the lineup.

– I’m excited to step up as IGL. I’ve always had the capabilities, and I can’t wait to build a system with erkaSt and bring out the best in everyone. Adding Nettik brings in some serious firepower. He’s one of the best riflers in Oceania, INS has said in a short statement yesterday.
