The first round of the BLAST Paris closed qualifiers are set and ready to get into action later this day. 32 teams are divided into two groups. Top teams such as OG, forZe, and GamerLegion are featured in Group B.
IEM Katowice winner G2 and the mighty Astralis are placed in Group A. Other teams such as LDLC, Copenhagen Flames, Tricked, Eternal Fire, 9INE, 1win, and HAVU are also set to face off against each other in Group A.

Group B will go live from 19:30 (CET) – 21:45 (CET)

Elimination and Advancement matches are Bo3
All other matches are Bo1
The Buchholz system is used to seed matches from Round 3 to 5
The top 9 Teams proceed to one of the European RMRs
9th place decider is resolved via a Bo3 single-elimination gauntlet
The bottom 8 Teams are eliminated
Only eight teams from each group will make it to the European RMR.
