FaZe send 00NATION to the lower bracket at IEM Cologne

No surprises here, as the #1 team takes the first win!

As the massive favorites in their opening matchup, FaZe, without too much trouble, took down 00NATION in only two maps.

00NATION got off to a great start on their pick of Ancient. The South American squad took a fast 5-3 T-side lead, but that is when the map turned on a platter. As ‘broky’ and ‘Twistzz’ caught fire, FaZe went on a twelve-round streak that gave the International roster map point. 00NATION luckily managed to recover their dignity with an impressive eight-round streak, but it was not quite enough to make it all the way back, and FaZe stole map #1 at 16-13.

‘rain’ showed signs of the brilliance that won him the Major MVP as FaZe won the second map of Inferno. The Norwegian catapulted the FaZe squad to a massive 11-4 CT-side halftime lead. The European team had a bit of trouble on the defense after losing the second pistol round, but with their massive halftime lead still pretty safely managed to close it out at 16-10.
