The newly FaZe roster has played some of the best Counter-Strike since losing their star player NiKo and coach YNk. They won the Group A upper bracket semi-final against the French side from Vitality 2-0 on Overpass (16-13) and Mirage (19-15). FaZe has now secured the first spot in the playoffs and is looking strong going into the next chapter of the event.
The game went to overtime on Mirage after 6 consecutive T round wins from Vitality to make it 15-15, but the overtime was completely unnecessary as broky and the rest of the team won 4 rounds to wrap up the series.
Helvis “broky” Saukants played fanatically which resulted in a 1.47 rating, 95,3 ADR, and 67 kills in 2 maps.
Vitality will get another shot in the lower bracket, a win over fnatic or MAD Lions on Tuesday is required for the team to reach the playoffs.
The next semi-final will be NAVI battling against the juggernaut within Complexity today at 18:30 (CEST).
