The wave of FaZe roster news shows no sign of slowing down this Monday.
In their latest update, FaZe have announced that Felipe “skullz” Medeiros will join the team as a substitute for the upcoming IEM Dallas 2025, as Håvard “rain” Nygaard may be unable to attend due to personal reasons.
– Due to personal reasons, rain may be unavailable to attend IEM Dallas 2025. We look forward to working with skullz and to welcoming rain back to the team as soon as possible, FaZe states on X.
Brazilian backup
skullz is currently benched on FURIA, having been removed from the starting lineup just two weeks ago.
The 23-year-old Brazilian rifler has previously represented paiN Gaming and Team Liquid, and on paper, brings a solid skill set to the table if FaZe ends up needing his services in Dallas.
A stacked day of moves
The statement comes after FaZe earlier today announced the benching of long-time AWPer Helvijs “broky” Saukants, following a rough period for the 24-year-old Latvian.
Shortly after, FaZe stunned the Counter-Strike community by revealing the addition of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, who joins the roster on a short-term loan from NAVI. The Ukrainian star will team up with karrigan and company for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major.
That means FaZe could head into IEM Dallas with two stand-ins if rain is unable to travel to Texas.
IEM Dallas kicks off on May 19 and features a stacked lineup, including Vitality, MOUZ, Falcons, and now, a drastically reshaped FaZe Clan.
