Former coach Philippe “Winspai” Mølgaard Ouabaid departed from Tricked after poor results. The 25-year-old Danish Counter-Strike player larsen will transition into becoming the coach for his former team Tricked. The young and talented team Tricked saw a great opportunity to hire larsen as their coach going forward.
– The choice fell naturally on Larsen, as we have had ample opportunity to see what he contained as a person during his time as a player, Morten Høj Jensen, director of Tricked says to Dust2.dk.
Since August 2021 larsen has been a player for the Tricked side, but from May – September 2022 the 25-year-old has been on the bench. Despite the transition of becoming a coach meaning that larsen will no longer be a player, the new coach feels that this is the right time for him to stop as a player and instead be focusing more on coaching.
– I’m super excited to start up full throttle now here. Becoming a coach appeals to me very much, and I believe that it is the right time that I have made the choice.
larsen will be coaching his team for the first time in the upcoming Danish POWER league.
