FalleN and company from Team Liquid have not only secured a spot in the playoffs at the prominent event, but also confirmed themselves the status as the best in their region after taking down Evil Geniuses with a confident 2-0 victory.
Inferno: 16-11 | CeRq – 1.37 Rating – 92.3 ADR – 26-17 K/D
Overpass: 16-10 | EliGE – 1.58 Rating – 100.2 ADR – 28-18 K/D
The action started on Inferno, where EG stole three rounds after Liquid won the pistol round. Stewie2K and company answered back by grabbing 5 rounds in a row before EG broke their economy and lowered their deficit to just one round before halftime. It became chaotic after the two teams switched sides as both squads kept force buying, but Liquid ended up closing the game 16-11 on their T-side.
On Overpass, Liquid wrapped up the series 2-0 with EliGE stepping up huge and leading the charge for his team with a 1.58 Rating and 28 frags.
MVP:
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo – 1.36 Rating – 76-0 ADR – 40-26 K/D
