Falcons live to fight another day at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, as Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and his team secured a 2-0 victory over The Huns in Friday’s opening match.

The series began on Inferno, where the Mongolian underdogs surprised many by pushing Falcons all the way to overtime. Leading the charge was Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga, who delivered a phenomenal performance with a 1.54 rating, despite The Huns falling short in a tight 16-13 loss.

Map two, Ancient, was a different story. The Danny “zonic” Sørensen-led squad looked dominant from the start, cruising to a comfortable 13-6 win and closing out the series.
