Among the featured games at the upcoming Esports World Cup is Counter-Strike 2. The organizers recently took to Twitter to unveil the staggering prize pool, which marks a historic milestone in esports.

The prize money will be allocated across two main pools.
The Club Championship will cater to organizations participating in multiple titles, with a hefty $20,000,000 earmarked for the top 16 clubs.
Additionally, a substantial $33,000,000 will be up for grabs in the 19 individual World Championships. These championships will cover a diverse range of games including Apex Legends, Dota 2, EA Sports FC 24, Fortnite, Free Fire, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Overwatch 2, PUBG Battlegrounds, PUBG MOBILE, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, RENNSPORT, Rocket League, StarCraft II, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics, and TEKKEN 8. The Twitter announcement hints at further title announcements in the near future.
Qualifiers and Player Bounties will also be rewarded. More than $7 million will be awarded before the Game Championships start.
While specific details regarding the date and venue for the Counter-Strike 2 event are yet to be disclosed, the Esports World Cup is scheduled to run from July 4 to August 25. As of now, the following teams have qualified for the CS2 event: Team Spirit, NAVI, FaZe, Complexity, FURIA, G2, Team Vitality, MOUZ, and Virtus.pro.
