Entropiq eliminate Astralis and qualifies for the lower bracket final

Entropiq will face ECSTATIC tomorrow.

The series began with Entropiq’s map pick of Ancient, but it was Astralis who started in the lead, as they established a strong CT side where Entropiq struggled to find holes in the Astralis defense. Entropiq stopped a series from the offense late in the first half and went on a five-round winning streak, but couldn’t stop the Danish squad from taking the advantage in the first half. Entropiq kept their momentum in the second half, winning the pistol and converting. But Astralis began to find their right footing, picking up three rounds in a row and snowballed to a 16-13 victory.

Onto the second map of Nuke, Astralis being completely wiped off the first half by a dominant Entropiq side. An outstanding defense on the CT side could see Entropiq go up 11-4 in a half where Astralis struggled hard to find any solutions on the offense. In the end, Entropiq closed out the Danish squad by winning Nuke 16-8, sending the match to a third deciding map.

In a dramatic last map, Entropiq managed to win the match. Several rounds of the match could have gone both ways, but in the end, it was El1an and company to seal the deal and win the series.

The victory for Entropiq sets them up with a match against ECSTATIC

in the Lower final, while Astralis is out of the tournament.
