ENCE has announced that their young star player Jere “sergej” Salo steps down from the active roster due to a lack of motivation “ to pursue forward in the intense world of professional Counter-Strike”. ENCE explains that it’s a mutual agreement between sergej and the Finnish organization and further insures that sergej still will remain contracted with ENCE.
“Jere has come to a conclusion that he currently doesn’t have the necessary motivation to pursue forward in the intense world of professional Counter-Strike and has asked to be removed from the playing roster. He has decided to fulfill his Finnish military service duties starting January, 2021 and therefore will not be a part of the active ENCE roster for the time being.”
The young Finn has been with ENCE since April 2018 and is a player who has been a key factor for the organization and its entry to the top of the CS:GO world. It’s unclear when ENCE once again can benefit from sergej and his contribution.
