Lynn Vision cruised to a confident win over TYLOO yesterday, moving into the favourable 2-1 bracket at the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
But despite the result, it was a bittersweet moment for Tang “EmiliaQAQ” Junjie, as the victory sent fellow Chinese squad TYLOO into elimination territory.
“I’m not so happy”
But it was with mixed feelings afterwards as their victory meant that their countrymen from TYLOO dropped down in elimination territory, Tang “EmiliaQAQ” Junjie explained to Pley.
– We won today. But I’m not so happy, because it was against a Chinese team. I hope all Chinese team can go forward, EmiliaQAQ told Pley after the match in Austin.
– This game against TYLOO was difficult. It’s not so simple as you guys may see it. We felt nervous sometimes and also felt the pressure in some rounds. We also gave them some clutches, where we played bad.
Lynn Vision is now riding strong momentum, having defeated both Falcons and TYLOO across two days in Texas.
On Monday, they’ll look to lock in a Stage 3 ticket when they face off against paiN at 19:30 CEST.
