donk and Spirit clinch last Shanghai Major spot

Spirit has claimed the last ticket to the Perfect World Shanghai Major, capping off their European RMR journey with a convincing win against NIP in the 7th-place decider this Sunday.

With this victory, Spirit completes the 24-team lineup for the $1.25 million tournament in China, cementing their status as a team to watch.

The matchup was never really close, with Spirit putting up a dominant performance on the server at the beginning, which saw them steamroll 13-5 over NIP on Mirage.

Despite a slightly closer affair on NIP’s map pick, Vertigo, Spirit once again proved too strong, closing the series 13-11 and leaving no doubt of who the better team was.
