Demoted! YEKINDAR open to offers after Liquid benching

The Latvian rifler’s days in Liquid’s starting lineup have come to an end.

Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis has officially been removed from Liquid’s active roster ahead of the 2025 season, the organization confirmed Friday evening.

The decision ends a two-year stint with Liquid for the 25-year-old, who has struggled throughout 2024 to replicate the stellar form he showcased during his time with Virtus.pro.

YEKINDAR is now the third player to depart the Dutch organization within the past year. In a post on X, the Latvian rifler reacted on yesterday’s news:

– As of today, I am officially benched and open to offers.

– These two and a half years went past so fast and I can truly say that I have had a chance to play at the best esports organization. I’m insanely thankful for all of my teammates, the staff, and support. This road was not easy but I will use them as a guide in my future. I’m ready to bounce back as an individual and a player, YEKINDAR wrote.
