On Wednesday, NiP managed to edge out BIG at Flashpoint 3 to move on in the lower bracket and set themselves up for a clash against their Scandinavian rivals from Heroic.

Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Danish AWPer spoke with the desk at Flashpoint in a post-match interview, where he commented on his new team’s deep run in their first ever tournament together:

“We are still trying to find our consistency, especially me, I’m not really satisfied with the level I’m putting out,”

With Wednesday’s 2-1 victory, device and NiP ensured themselves a better finish than the Dane’s former team and avoided a 5th place decider against Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander’s men from Astralis.

“I’m here for the long-term project. Obviously, the short-term results are great, I think that for this tournament you can count us as the winners, but I know the first time we meet it is going to be a grudge match. I know when the guys are motivated, they really shoot heads so I’m really looking forward to that game,”
