Astralis has to do without their important in-game leader Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander at BLAST Premier Fall Groups, the 26-year-old Dane confirms on Twitter. The decision not to play comes after a wish for gla1ve to experience the birth of him and his partners’ first child, who is set to be born this month.
– I really don’t want to miss the experience of my first child getting born, and it means everything to me that it’s also something the organization and my teammates wants for me. It is no secret, I really want to play, but I also didn’t want to put the team in a position where they had to change a player while the tournament was going on. That would create much more confusion … , gla1ve states on Twitter.
Together with Danny, I am doing everything I can to prepare and help the team get ready to BLAST Premier Fall Groups. I will be by their side all the way. I believe in my team.
The replacement will be Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth, who was moved to the bench before the start of ESL Pro League Season 14. At that time the ‘Clutch Minister’ was substituted with Astralis’ latest addition Phillip “Lucky” Ewald.
