Complexity did what Virtus.pro failed to do earlier this day. Being big favorites beforehand they won their opening match at Funspark ULTI Europe 2-0 against HAVU.
The Finnish roster had set their hopes high after an excellent start to 2021, but against a deadly Danish duo in blameF and k0nfig, they were left without any chances. At least on Mirage, where Complexity started strong with a 16-5 win.
Overpass has not been a Complexity favorite lately. The team had lost five out of their last six matches on the map, which made HAVU pick into it. The result was a much more even matchup. The Finnish roster did their best to match the firepower from Complexity. Sami ‘xseveN’ Laasanen was in particular an annoyance to the international roster. It was only towards the end, that Complexity managed to make a gap on the scoreboard
