The ESL Pro League Season 17 group stage is done and dusted. 16 teams are ready to play each other for the EPL S17 trophy. Four winners, one from each of the four groups will be waiting in the quarter-finals for their next opponent. Heroic, FORZE, Cloud9, and Vitality went undefeated through their respective groups. The dominance of the four teams is also to be seen on the leaderboards. Three Cloud9 players are to be found inside the top four. However, the world’s second-best Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut in 2022, is the man on top of the charts with an insane 1.61 rating across six maps.

The most notable teams who didn’t manage to qualify for the playoffs are Ninjas in Pyjamas, BIG, Eternal Fire, Spirit, and Astralis who fell short against Liquid in their deciding match yesterday. What looked to be a close encounter between the two teams, ended in a clean 2-0 victory for Liquid.
