The star-studded Cloud9 roster will not make it through to the playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 18 after falling short 2-0 against the Turkish underdogs from Eternal Fire late Saturday evening.

Before yesterday’s disappointing loss to Eternal Fire, Cloud9 had also experienced two other defeats against Complexity and Liquid, which were why Cloud9 could see themselves in the elimination bracket in Group D. 

Cloud9 depart Malta with 21-28th placement, alongside other strong teams as Ninjas in Pyjamas and Heroic.
