TyLoo also took care of M80 as the non-Brazilians shined the brightest on FURIA.
FURIA 13 – 4 Lynn Vision
The international team with a Brazilian core, FURIA, took on Lynn Vision in a favorable matchup on Nuke.
FURIA was clearly a level above Lynn Vision in-game, defeating them comprehensively with a 9-3 starting half.
The Brazilian team closed it out with standout performances from the non-Brazilians, with molodoy ending the map boasting a 18-5 KD and YEKINDAR with 115 ADR.
paiN 13 – 7 Nemiga
paiN Gaming and Nemiga met on the frequently contested map of Dust2.
While the map seemed competitive initially, paiN ran away with the game in the second half, with a heroic performance from nqz who closed the map with a 3k and a 1.42 rating.
The Brazilian team recently picked up Uruguayan dgt to upgrade their roster. They have failed to impress in their previous two tournaments, but have had a solid start here.
MIBR 10 – 13 Legacy
Legacy continues their miracle run after being substituted into the Major. They have once again defeated Brazilian compatriots at the Major, after eliminating Imperial at the previous stage.
The map was on Nuke, where MIBR had a solid start, taking a 7-5 CT-side. Legacy came back with consecutive rounds, and suddenly the game was close at the final stages.
Despite a heroic 1v3 clutch from brnz4n, Legacy managed to take out MIBR with a top-fragging performance from latto, who dropped 22 kills.
M80 8 – 13 TyLoo
It was a story of CT-sides, as these two teams locked horns on Train.
M80 started out the map 8-4 on the CT-side, with reck solid in the anchor position and slaxz with the AWP.
However, on the T-side, TyLoo consistently stopped every attack from M80, and got up to 12 rounds without response from the North Americans.
JamYoung closed the game with a 1v2. It was a team effort from TyLoo, with Jee and Attacker leading.
