There will be a Brazilian team qualified for BLAST Fall Finals in the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. That was made a fact last night, when Fluxo and 00Nation eliminated Evil Geniuses and VERTEX from the North American qualifiers.
The two teams followed in the footsteps of Sharks and MIBR, who yesterday eliminated Complexity and TeamOne from the tournament.
Fluxo’s 2-1 win against Evil Geniuses came as a big surprise after the North Americans had had such a good RMR tournament. EG lost 16-8 on Nuke in the decider map, which prompted coach Daniel “Vorborg” Vorborg to tweet an apology to the fans of Evil Geniuses.
Obviously a bad performance by us today, but that's part of the process of a new team – there will always be ups and down
Now it's about what we can take from this loss, learn from it, and turn our attention to the future
Sorry to the EG fans, we'll do better
