Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas has officially joined JiJieHao’s Counter-Strike 2 roster, the Chinese organization announced on Monday. The Jordanian rifler, who previously played for Monte and Falcons, now becomes a permanent member of the team after a brief period as a stand-in.
BOROS steps in to strengthen JiJieHao
JiJieHao has been looking to refine its lineup after a series of underwhelming results. BOROS was brought in as a stand-in during the team’s recent ESL Challenger League match against SINNERS, which ended in a 0-2 defeat. Despite the loss, the 20-year-old performed well individually, recording 31 kills and a 1.18 rating.
His arrival sees him replace his fellow Jordanian, Issa “ISSAA” Murad, who has been moved to the bench. This change comes as JiJieHao attempts to stabilize its roster and improve its standing in the Asian CS2 circuit.
A fresh start for BOROS
BOROS had been searching for a new team since October after being released by Into the Breach, where he spent just over a month before being benched. His professional career includes stints with Monte and Falcons, where he built a reputation as an explosive rifler.
JiJieHao has struggled in recent competitions, including an early exit in the BLAST Rising Asia closed qualifier after losses to Rare Atom and Fated Rise. The organization stated in an announcement that the roster move was made “to help us push forward and unlock our full potential.”
JiJieHao’s updated CS2 roster
With BOROS now part of the lineup, JiJieHao’s active roster consists of:
Áron “Aaron” Homoki
Bebu “Bibu” Aadil
Hussein “m1N1” Hijazi
Denislav “dennyslaw” Dimitrov
Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas
The team also has two benched players:
Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjærbye
Issa “ISSAA” Murad
Upcoming Competitions
JiJieHao will debut its updated lineup in the MENA Closed Qualifier for the MESA Asian Masters, an event held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, which serves as a qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025. The team will be aiming for better results after a string of disappointing performances in recent months.
As the competition in the Asian CS2 scene intensifies, JiJieHao hopes that the addition of BOROS will provide the firepower needed to challenge stronger opponents and secure a place at major international events.
