Astralis remove star player after RMR failure

Benjamin “blameF” Bremer’s days on the Danish super team has come to an end.

Astralis has announced the benching of their profiled in-game leader Benjamin “blameF” Bremer.

The roster change is a consequence of their failed Major qualification earlier this month, where Astralis didn’t manage to secure a spot for the Copenhagen Major next month.

Huge disappointment! Astralis fail to qualify for the Copenhagen Major

For blameF himself, the news does not surprise him that much.

– I probably saw it coming, as we haven’t succeeded, even though it felt like we were on the right track. I play with four incredibly talented players, but we just haven’t functioned as a team in the matches that really matter, and you know that something new needs to happen, blameF explains in a statement.

The news of blameF’s benching comes on the same day when Astralis reveal the early arrival of their new head coach Casper “ruggah” Due. You can read more about that in the article below.
