Things are heating up at the prominent tournament YaLLa Compass 2024 in Abu Dhabi, with the competition reaching its final stages.
Yesterday we saw Astralis take down the Russians from BetBoom in the first quarterfinal, after a strong performance from the Nicolai “device” Reedtz-led side squad. Here the Danes continued their fine form in 2024 so far by winning 2-1 on the maps of Nuke (13-5), Mirage (7-13) and Ancient (16-14).
Going to the semifinals with Astralis will be Ninjas in Pyjamas, as they ended up victorious in last night’s second quarterfinal matchup against fnatic.
The standout performer for NIP ended up being the Ukrainian super-talent Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, who averaged a 1.49 rating and racked up a 39-22 K/D throughout the two maps.
