The MongolZ is the first team to secure a slot at the Perfect World Major in Shanghai after a decisive win in the Asian RMR tournament.
In a thrilling showdown, the Mongolians bested ohnePixel’s DRILLAS squad 2-1, clinching their Major qualification and advancing through the RMR stage.

At one point in the upper bracket match, it looked like DRILLAS were to upset the favourites from The MongolZ, with the underdogs grabbing the first map on Mirage (13-11).
However, The MongolZ survived the scare and cemented the victory by steamrolling over DRILLAS on Ancient (13-2) and lastly Anubis (13-5).
With their Major spot guaranteed, The MongolZ can breathe a sigh of relief, while DRILLAS will battle through the bracket to compete for one of the two remaining Major spots.
