The ESL Grand Slam (formerly known as the Intel Grand Slam) is one of the most prestigious achievements in competitive Counter-Strike.
The title is awarded to the first team that wins four eligible ESL tournaments within a span of ten events, including at least one Championship event like IEM Katowice or IEM Cologne. Alongside the glory, the Grand Slam also comes with a massive $1,000,000 prize bonus.
Vitality joins the list
On April 27th, 2025, Vitality became the fifth team in history to win the Grand Slam, closing out their dominant run by lifting the trophy at IEM Melbourne. Their Grand Slam-winning streak included victories at IEM Katowice 2025, ESL Pro League Season 21, and IEM Cologne 2024.
Vitality’s achievement is historic not just for the title, but also for being the first Grand Slam completed fully in the CS2 era.
